Day 6

What a day of Olympic action we have had.  Blog updates have been coming in thick and fast as the second week of the Olympic Food Challenge looms ever nearer.  It has also been a hectic day of sport and one of mixed results for Team GB.  The men's gymnastic team walked away with a bronze medal after being robbed of silver.  This was still a great result having never won a medal in their Olympic history.  Sadly Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield couldn't manage the same after a poor dive* in round 3 of the synchronised 10m diving ultimatly cost them a podium finish.

Back at the Olympic food challenge, we have had recurring recipes for chimmichurri sauce and falafel, which just goes to show how small the world is after all.  Today's recipes are from American Samoa, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Costa Rica, Eritrea, Kenya and Russia.  We are one third through the Olympic Food Challenge and there is a long way still to go.  Let's hope all of the long distance training pays off.

*like I could do any better.
